I have a obsession with glasses...
I think they are adorable on women and on men they are incredibly sexy. What normal person curses 20 20 vision. I really want a pair of my own BUT is that weird? I steal husbands every now and again just cause they are fun.... I want to find a charming pair to call my own. Any advice where to find some that are strictly a accessory but still quality? Who has to know I do not have slightly impaired vision :)

J.Crew has a few amazing pairs by Selima Optique -- They're pretty pricey, and I'm sure you could find some for much less, but that's what comes to mind first! Still, they're worth checking out for ideas.

this makes me laugh... not because i think you're a nerd but because i did the same thing! i had a pair in high school... and just picked up another pair the other day. however, i didnt' love them so i didn't buy them. i'm still waiting for the ones i love to surprise me!

I am the same way!! LOOOOVE the look of glasses. I would wear them in High School just because I thought they were cute. Then I found out I really did need glasses. I would recommend LensCrafters. They have awesome brands at the Gateway store: RayBan, Prada, VOGUE, Versace..etc. The frames run around $150+ and you can have them put PLANO (non-prescription) lenses in them and you will get them that day! I used to work there and tried on different styles all the time it was so fun. Warren is the lab manager at the gateway and he's awesome.

Having bad eyesight is a curse. It sucks. Instead of seeing people's beautiful faces, I see blobs. Instead of seeing trees on mountains, I see green-hued blurs. Contacts pop out of my eyes. Glasses give me a migraine and make my face ache. So don't wish you had bad eyesight--just wear un-Rx glasses if you want to. :)
